  I seriously loved it. I had three full plates filled with pizza, sushi, rice, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rolls, fruit, beef, noodles, stir fry, crab, shrimp, chicken wings, orange chicken, and asparagus...definitely got my money's worth and I was only there for like 45 minutes. There is a 3 hr time limit. Great price for all of the food you get! I definitely recommend this place. I know there are other reviews that aren't the best, but just go experience it for yourself. Don't expect a fancy restaurant, but know that for $11 you can get a wide variety of food and be there for up to 3 hrs. Come hungry, leave satisfied.

  I started eating at the Rio Buffet when it was called the Seafood Place. If I'm correct, that location opened about 12 years ago. The food and service was great then, now not so much.
  
  I had dinner at the Rio this evening and the food wasn't bad, but the hot foods should have been warmer. It would be nice to see someone checking the food temperature with an infrared thermometer. Sometimes the food looks a bit dried out.
  
  In support of the Rio, I can say that I've never gotten sick eating there, and I've been going since they opened as the Seafood Place. Back then, I would have given them a 5 star rating for food and service. Today, I can only give them 3 stars. However, I'd rather eat at the Rio Buffet than the Teppanyaki in District Heights. I've actually seen at kid, fill his mouth with grapes, and spit them back in the buffet tray.

  I was visiting with family and wanted crab and chinese for dinner....This was the Best Chinese Buffet I've ever experienced the food, atmosphere, prices, and service combined Made it the best!!!...I wish I lived closer!!
